Themeridian 120° east ofGreenwich is a line oflongitude that extends from theNorth Pole across theArctic Ocean,Asia, theIndian Ocean,Australia, theSouthern Ocean, andAntarctica to theSouth Pole. In mean solar time this offset is theUTC+08:00 time zone.

The 120th meridian east forms agreat ellipse with the60th meridian west. The 120th meridian east is the easternmost of South China Sea, according to Vietnam's typhoon warning region.
