The Fish is an enemy inEarthBound Beginnings, found in theMagicant Underground. It resembles a yellow carnivorous fish in an upright position. It is the game's only optionalboss, and guards theOnyx Hook, an item which can transportNinten toMagicant whenever he uses it. The Fish itself resides in theMagicant Underground, and the battle will more specifically initiate once Ninten has stepped on the stairs leading to the room which contains the Onyx Hook. Despite its ability to use moderately damaging continuous attacks, it is not a difficult enemy to defeat and goes down in a few physical hits.
