TheSoot Dumpling is a rare enemy inMother 3, which can only be encountered inChapter 1. It appears near the smoldering ruins ofLighter's burnt down house.Flint must defeat it promptly or it will be scattered by the wind, ending the battle without him gaining the sizable experience for victory. Due to its high defense, this is usually accomplished by the usage of combos.
Due to being soot, if the player attempts to ram the Soot Dumplings, they will be scattered into the wind.
