The Putrid Moldyman is an enemy inMother 3. Atrash can containing a Putrid Moldyman can be found in the sewers ofNew Pork City, making it the only enemy inMother 3 besides theSurprise Box to hide in a container. It can also appear as a standard encounter in New Pork City's sewers, where it behaves similarly to EarthBound. However, many of its weaknesses and resistances have changed in Mother 3, as it is now extremely susceptible toBrainshock. It is interesting to point out the front sprite is the same one in EarthBound, although with a slightly brighter palette.
