Ness's Nightmare is a boss inEarthBound, appearing inNess's version ofMagicant. Ness's Nightmare is a representation of the evil part of Ness's mind, and he must defeat it to overcome his evil side; appropriately, the sprite of this enemy is extremely similar to that of theMani-Mani Statue. As a part of Ness, it has the ability to usePSI Rockin. It begins the battle withPSI Shield α, but it can also castShield β on itself.

Trivia
- Giygas and Ness's Nightmare are the only enemies that knowPSI Rockin.
- Ness' Nightmare appears to have a slight weakness towardsPSI Fire andPSI Freeze even though neitherPaula orPoo are present while fighting it.
