Maxwell is a character inEarthBound. He is an older, more experienced student at theSnow Wood Boarding House. WhenJeff tries to open the lockers, he finds that they are locked, so Maxwell gives him a key. The key is busted however, so Maxwell gives him the "Machine that Opens Doors, especially when you have a slightly bad key".

Jeff also calls Maxwell to save his game while he travels alone, instead ofNess's father.
