TheGroucho is an enemy inEarthBound Beginnings, found inMagicant and itsunderground area. It will only perform one action, other than attack. It will simply say "Hello" and walk away from battle, raising the experience points of a single character inNinten's party. If defeated, it will award experience to the entire party, though the experience received is a much smaller amount. Its English name is based onGroucho glasses.

Groucho,Watcher,Dadseyes,Momseyes, andFoureyes are clearly related in some way based on their nearly identical appearance, shared location, and very similar Japanese names. However, this relation is never explicitly revealed. The existence of seemingly disembodied face acting on its own is never revealed either. All of these enemies are only seen in the bizarre land ofMagicant. It also physically resembles aSpecknose fromKid Icarus.
