TheCoil Snake is the weakest enemy inEarthBound, being one of the many animals under the control ofGiygas. They start appearing very close to the city ofOnett, similarly to the other enemies,Runaway Dog andSpiteful Crow. Like the other two, Coil Snakes appear in many other areas. Coil Snakes attackNess primarily by biting him. When defeated, the Coil Snake becomes tame, as with most other animal enemies in the game. A stronger version of this enemy is theThirsty Coil Snake.
