TheBad Buffalo is an enemy inEarthBound that can be encountered when wandering through theDusty Dunes Desert. Its attacks can be quite vicious, particularly when it tears into a party member, however it is very weak toParalysis. It spawns alone, or alongside aDesert Wolf,Smilin' Sphere, orCrested Booka.

Development

The Bad Buffalo was planned early on in development but in two completely different forms, being a rhino and later a hippo, as seen in theSecrets of Mother 2 art book. It was only changed to a buffalo fairly late in development.
