Layout

Argilla Pass is first accessed inChapter 7 by taking the left path after exitingSunshine Forest from the north. The path leads to an empty field before continuing north, which leads to a mountain pass with several branching paths and caves. Taking the left path on the first fork in the road leads to a cave containing ahot spring. The right path is a winding path which leads to the caves.

The caves start out with an empty room with two paths to take. Going left leads to a bridge across an underground stream, then turns downwards before leading back outside. Back outside is a small cliff with another cave entrance to go back inside. Continuing this way leads to a dead end where theNegative Man can be fought as an optional boss.

Back at the initial entrance, taking the path to the right goes to another split. North will lead to a dead end, going south is a winding path that turns right, then after a small dip is the exit from the cave.

From hear on there are only two places to go. Heading right is where Ionia's house is located, and where Lucas delivers theJar of Yummy Pickles. North is where the Chupichupyoi Temple is located, as well as one of the Needles.

History

Chapter 7

After receivedMixolydia's task to give the Jar of Yummy Pickles to Ionia, Lucas and his friends travel through Argilla Pass to give it to Ionia. On the way to meet Ionia and deliver it,Lucas drops it, temporarily leavingBoney as the party leader to find it. There are other items located here as well, but ifBoney finds the pickles first, the other items become unavailable.

At Ionia's house, Lucas gives them the pickles, who in turn hands theWaters of Time to remove the vines blocking the temple in order to pull the sixthNeedle. On the way there, aMr. Saturn shows up to return the newly-polished Courage Badge, now revealed to be aFranklin Badge. At the Chupichupyoi Temple, the group confront theMasked Man and thePigmasks who are trying to enter the temple. However, the Masked Man is unable to remove vines that are frozen in time. Upon spotting Lucas, he attacks them with lightning, but Lucas's Franklin Badge reflects it back to start a battle. After being defeated, the Masked Man and the Pigmasks retreat, allowing Lucas to use the Waters of Time to clear out the vines. Inside, the next Needle is able to be pulled by Lucas, which then prompts Ionia to arrive and teach KumatoraPK Starstorm before disappearing.

Finally, the team leaves the temple before being transported toNew Pork City.

	Cup of Lifenoodles	In the northernmost room along with the Striped Collar.
	Goddess Bustier	In the westernmost room.
	Magic Pudding	Found in the western parts of the cave.
	Striped Collar	In the northernmost room along with the Cup of Lifenoodles.
	Magic Tart	South of Ionia's house.
	Franklin Badge	Received from Mr. Saturn before reaching the Chupichupyoi Temple.
	Waters of Time	Received from Ionia after being given the Jar of Yummy Pickles.
