Commented version (CMV)
A Commented version is the only product where the consensus-based content of a publication is enriched with technical commentary.CMVs are an enhanced version of the traditional Redline version which highlights the changes between the previous edition and the new edition. With the commented versions, users can better understand the rationale for changes made to the newest edition of the standard. Comments may include an explanation for the changes as well as information on the impact of these changes on the application and usability of the standard.
