Porters Group

While the OpenJDK code base covers some mainstream CPUarchitectures and operating systems, there are many more platformsthat are attractive targets for porting efforts for Java. Thisgroup exists to bundle and aid such efforts under the OpenJDKumbrella, and integrate them in the OpenJDK community throughporting projects.

If you lead a porting project you'd like to see join OpenJDK,you should send a porting project proposal to the porters-devmailing list, and see the OpenJDK contributionguidelines for legal requirements for acceptingyour contributions into OpenJDK.
