Device I/O Project

Mission

The Device I/O Project provides a Java-level API for accessinggeneric device peripherals on embedded devices.

It covers some of the most common peripheral devices found intoday's embedded platforms including:

• General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO)
• Inter-Integrated Circuit Bus (I2C)
• Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART)
• Serial Peripheral Interface
