Run Installer

Go to the location where you downloaded the installer. Unzip the downloaded file and run the installer:
harmony_vX_XX_windowsinstall-ier.exe.
Depending on your Windows security settings, you may get a window asking if you are sure you want to run this program. AnswerYes.

Choose Modules to Install
In some instances you may only want to install modules from the MPLAB® Harmony framework that you plan to use. If this is the case, uncheck any module you do not want to install. This will only save space on your PC. Unused modules willNOT be compiled into your application.

Open the MPLAB X IDE Plugin Manager
- Run MPLAB X IDE and open theplugin manager by selecting from the main menu:
Tools ▶ Plugins - Select theDownloaded tab
- Click theAdd Plugins… button on the upper left.

Run Installer
You may need to make the file executable. In a terminal, go to the directory where you downloaded the installer and run the command:
chmod u+x harmony_vX_XX_linuxinstall-ier.run
Then, run the installer (If you plan to install it outside of your home directory, run asroot or usingsudo):
./harmony_vX_XX_linuxinstall-ier.run
