Disconnect Tool

To disconnect the programming tool from the MPLAB® IPE, follow the steps below:

When the tool is connected to the IPE, allCommand buttons includingProgram,Erase,Read,Verify, andBlank Check are available for you to use. To disconnect the tool, click theDisconnect button next to theTool drop-down menu. See figure below:

After MPLAB® IPE has disconnected the tool, theCommand buttons are no longer available and are grayed out. See figure below:

Note:
The firmware download will not occur until theconnect ordisconnect button is clicked, or aprogramming operation is performed.
