Today, we're gonna share about the life of the Man of the Hour -Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

It's also his birthday today, 21 APRIL 2020.

Birth Name: Yew Ming Seong

Yew was born into a poor family and lived with his parents in San Peng flats, Pudu.

As a young school boy, he would walk to Methodist Boy School in Sentul, KL with his younger brother.

Sadly at the age of 14, his parents could no longer afford to provide for his needs and so Yew was adopted by an Ustaz, a friend of his parents.

Yew's adoptive father was a principal at Kolej Islam Klang.

Later on in life, Yew married his adoptive father's biological daughter and that's about when he changed his name to Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Our Health Director-General Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah is currently residing in Sungai Pelek, Sepang - in a'Fuzhou' kampung.

Yes, our DG can still speak the Fuzhou dialect.

Dr. Noor Hisham has been greatly commended for well-managing the COVID-19 outbreak situation here in Malaysia and citizens are well-pleased with how active he has been with keeping people updated on important bits of news, as well as personal safety measures -- like#SocialDistancing and#JustStayHome.

As the face of Malaysia's Defence against Coronavirus, Malaysians have commented that they feel reassured with their safety for as long as Dr. Noor Hisham is in charge of the Health Ministry in Malaysia.

In fact, he is the sole representative of the government today who is the most active link to all Malaysians to safeguard ourselves in this pandemic.

We recognize that his birthday today will not be spent celebrating with Family and Friends, but instead working hard to keep everyone in Malaysia safe.
