Buggy, clumsy, they need a user design person to make more intuitive and less frustrating

There are many odd, buggy things when using this app. Like in live broadcast or video conference, typing text must be done in a separate window from the video! When you try to mute a participant as the host, sometimes it flat out doesn’t work. Other times after you unmute somebody, they have to manually unmute themselves each time, slow and not smooth. Live broadcast is also very buggy and to unable to invite more than one additional person.
For any type of video conferencing or broadcast, just use Zoom it’s 1000x better!
It’s cool that they’re trying to offer such a comprehensive suite of services, from monitoring employees clocking in, requesting leave, and ability to share large documents, yet frequently the interface is clumsy, buggy, and not intuitive for a new user (this often frustrating)
Developers at Dingtalk, slow down, fix all these bugs, and hire some userx design folks that can make this platform intuitive, streamlined, and enjoyable!
Because for now, I really dislike Dingtalk and avoid using it as much as possible! I would rather use WeChat for group communication, Baidu cloud for sharing large documents and cloud drive, Zoom for video conferencing and broadcasting recording, then put up with clumsy buggy Dingtalk

Was fine until I almost lost my data...

Ok so no one likes to do homework but honestly I’m more frustrated with the app itself. App worked fine at first. Easy to get notifications from teachers. However my phone worked SUPER slow after every broadcast (which glitches out half the time) and there’s no way to really regulate notifications which distract me when I’m trying to work. A lot of my other apps didn’t really work (including my Remind messages and even the actual phone app) after a few hours of using the app.

My biggest problem though was that I couldn’t even access my own data half the time especially if I needed to download something else.

The app also chews up a ton of battery. I deleted the app and after restarting my phone everything ran smoothly on my phone again. Teachers: do NOT get this app. I’ve heard broadcasts are flat out interrupted and although it looks like a good app for the first day or so it just gets annoying and I was kinda scared lots of my data would be lost when it was glitching. Sometimes the app wouldn’t even start. There’s probably a lot better apps out there that work for your needs but this ain’t it chief.

Ridiculous

Okay so the school forced me to get this app and I liked the idea of online school, so I wasn’t mad at all. But when I got the app I seriously wanted to barf. The design of the whole app is disgustingly unattractive. If I could kill this app and bury it under an explosive volcano I would. When I took back my tears and barf, I proceeded to go on the app again. I barfed. And no I’m not sick. I realized that it’s the light that’s bothering me so much, so I turned on dark mode. That’s the only good this about this app. Okay whatever, I went on exploring the app. It was huge mistake. I don’t know if someone hacked the app or it’s just like that, but please take off the animal sounds. I do not need a dog sounds or a cow sounds in the background while doing my work. Over the horrendous loud noises in the background, I’m also not very astonished that there’s no sketch pad to draw on while doing work. Like I would like to draw while working sometimes, it helps me think. There’s many things I don’t like, but the last thing I will like to mention is that there’s no button to change your teacher. Thank you, I hope you improve your app or I’m sending my doctor appointment bills to the company next time.
