Content crawled via theWayback Machine Live Proxy mostly by the Save Page Now feature on web.archive.org.

Liveweb proxy is a component of Internet Archive’s wayback machine project. The liveweb proxy captures the content of a web page in real time, archives it into a ARC or WARC file and returns the ARC/WARC record back to the wayback machine to process. The recorded ARC/WARC file becomes part of the wayback machine in due course of time.

The most popular songs of the year

Methodology

TheRolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart tracks the most popular songs of the week in the United States. Songs are ranked by Song Units, a number that combines audio streams and song sales using a custom weighting system. The chart does not include passive listening, such as terrestrial or digital radio. TheRolling Stone Top 100 is updated daily, and each weekRolling Stone finalizes and publishes an official version of the chart, covering the seven-day period ending with the previous Thursday. “Top Cities” are regions where a song is performing exceptionally well against the average song in that region.
