MOSCOW, October 21. /TASS/. The Russian Navy in the third quarter of 2016 received more than one hundred Kalibr and Oniks missiles as well as ships and coastal defense missile systems, Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov has said.
"More than 100 missiles Kalibr and anti-ship missiles Oniks were provided," Borisov said.
Also, the Russian Navy obtained one salvage ship of project 22870 and four self-propelled crane ships of project 02690. The Western military district received coastal defense missile complexes Bal and Bastion, Borisov added.
The Russian military used cruise missiles Kalibr for attacks against Islamic State militants in Syria from the Mediterranean and Caspian Seas in 2015 and 2016.
