These crawls are part of an effort to archive pages as they are created and archive the pages that they refer to. That way, as the pages that are referenced are changed or taken from the web, a link to the version that was live when the page was written will be preserved.

Then the Internet Archive hopes that references to these archived pages will be put in place of a link that would be otherwise be broken, or a companion link to allow people to see what was originally intended by a page's authors.

The goal is tofix all broken links on the web. Crawls of supported "No More 404" sites.
This is a collection of web page captures from links added to, or changed on, Wikipedia pages. The idea is to bring a reliability to Wikipedia outlinks so that if the pages referenced by Wikipedia articles are changed, or go away, a reader can permanently find what was originally referred to.

This is part of the Internet Archive's attempt torid the web of broken links.

Judge Advocate General

About the Judge Advocate General

The office of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) was created by the Defence Force Discipline Act1982 (DFDA).The holder of the office must be a judge of a Federal Court or a State Supreme Court. The functions of the JAG prescribed in the DFDA include making procedural rules for Service tribunals, providing the final legal review of proceedings within the ADF, participating in the appointment of Judge Advocates, Defence Force Magistrates, Presidents and members of courts martial, and legal officers for various purposes, and reporting upon the operation of laws relating to the discipline of the ADF.

The office of the JAG and its functions are indicative of the Legislature'sdesire for an appropriate oversight of the operation of the DFDA.

The JAG also plays a role in the promotion of the jurisprudential welfare and education of the ADF together with the exercise of a beneficial influence upon the legal structure within it.The JAG does not act as a general legal adviser to the ADF as that would be inconsistent with judicial office. This latter role is reserved for the Director General of The Defence Legal Service (DGTDLS).

TheJAG is assisted by threeDeputy Judge Advocates General (DJAG), one for each Service.
