Matured without chill filtration for a huge peaty punch, this complex whisky is aged in Limousine oak casks. Some taste peat smoke, fresh cinnamon and spicy sea spray, but like any great story, it's all open to interpretation.
46% ABV.
Rarely have I found as complexly peated and briny a malt as this and believe me the wait was well worth it. There is now constantly a bottle or two of Prophecy in my collection. Superb depth of aromas and lasting flavour on the palate - an experience every whisky drinker should experience more than once.
Mat Lambert Gorwyn
In the early 1700's the Campbells of Jura evicted a wise old seeress. Bristling with resentment, she prophesied that the last Campbell to leave the island would be one-eyed with his belongings carried in a cart drawn by a lone white horse. In 1938 it came true when Charles Campbell, blind in one eye from the Great War, led his white horse to the old pier for the last time. Just like Jura, Prophecy is a dram that’s steeped in stories, and every drop has a different tale to tell.
A Diurach always looks forward as well as back. This is a whisky to enjoy with friends as you toast to the future Pairs nicely with smoked Mackerel, crème caramel, Dunsyre blue and bitter chocolate.
