    On Thursday 27 March, the 100-day countdown to the Tour de France begins. Skipton has been successfully selected as one of the official Spectator Hubs for the event that have been announced at the 100 days to go mark.
  • 25/03/2014 - Four plastics recycling banks to be removed
    At the end of March, the four plastics recycling banks that are located throughout Craven will be removed. The Council's recycling contractor, which owns these banks, has given notice that will no longer provide this service due to spiralling costs. So far, the Council has not been able to find a party to take over the service.
