These crawls are part of an effort to archive pages as they are created and archive the pages that they refer to. That way, as the pages that are referenced are changed or taken from the web, a link to the version that was live when the page was written will be preserved.

Then the Internet Archive hopes that references to these archived pages will be put in place of a link that would be otherwise be broken, or a companion link to allow people to see what was originally intended by a page's authors.

The goal is tofix all broken links on the web. Crawls of supported "No More 404" sites.
This is a collection of web page captures from links added to, or changed on, Wikipedia pages. The idea is to bring a reliability to Wikipedia outlinks so that if the pages referenced by Wikipedia articles are changed, or go away, a reader can permanently find what was originally referred to.

This is part of the Internet Archive's attempt torid the web of broken links.

Executive Producer, Documentaries and Home Entertainment, ESPN Content Development

John Dahl is an executive producer, documentaries and home entertainment, for ESPN Content Development.  Currently, he oversees production of the network’s critically acclaimed “30 for 30” film series, working with its star-studded roster of filmmakers and their teams. Other films he has worked on recently includeThe Greatest Game Ever Played,Kobe Doin’ Work andLost Son of Havana.

Previously, he oversaw production for the network’s trio of Muhammad Ali tribute shows and the Sports Emmy-nominated specialAli Rap.  In addition, he was responsible for theUltimate NASCAR documentary-style series leading up to ESPN on ABC’s first of 10 televised NEXTEL Cup races in 2007.

Previously, Dahl was executive producer for ESPN Classic and ESPN25, responsible for overseeing production and personnel for both entities, which garnered a total of eight Sports Emmy nominations (two winners).  As coordinating producer for ESPN Original Entertainment (now ESPN Content Development), Dahl’s work that included the 2002 ESPY Awards, winning a Sports Emmy for “Best Long Feature” for a piece on the heroic measures taken on Flight 93 on September 11, 2001.  He served as coordinating producer for ESPN Classic from 2000-2001, and was senior producer and producer for ESPN’s Peabody and Emmy Award-winningSportsCentury:  50 Greatest Athletesfrom 1997-2000.

He originally joined ESPN as the first producer in the Chicago Bureau in 1989 and returned to the company as a coordinating producer for ESPNEWS in 1997.  During his time at ESPN, Dahl has earned six Sports Emmys and an additional six nominations as well as one Peabody award.

Before ESPN, Dahl was a supervising producer/producer from 1991-1997 for CNN Sports, where he earned three CableACE awards and one Sports Emmy nomination.

He received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of North Carolina in 1986.
