Launch ManifestAntares has successfully two missions is from our Wallops Island, Virginia launch facility and currently has eight additional missions on its manifest. The Antares test flight, conducted in April 2013, carried a simulated Cygnus payload to verify the Antares launch system. For the COTS demo mission, a fully operational Cygnus spacecraft was launched into orbit in September 2013 and docked with the International Space Station carrying approximately 700 kg of cargo to demonstrate Orbitalâs ISS cargo resupply system. CRS missions 1-3 will deliver 2000 kg of pressurized cargo to the Station, and the remaining missions will incorporate "enhanced" configurations of Antares and Cygnus to deliver 2700 kg of pressurized cargo. Preliminary evaluation and studies for the development of additional launch sites are ongoing. | Flight | Date | Customer | Mission | Launch Site | | Flight 1 | April 21, 2013 | NASA | Antares Test Flight | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 2 | September 18, 2013 | NASA | COTS Demo | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 3 | December 2013 | NASA | CRS Mission 1 (Orb-1) | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 4 | TBD | NASA | CRS Mission 2 (Orb-2) | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 5 | TBD | NASA | CRS Mission 3 (Orb-3) | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 6 | TBD | NASA | CRS Mission 4 (Orb-4) | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 7 | TBD | NASA | CRS Mission 5 (Orb-5) | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 8 | TBD | NASA | CRS Mission 6 (Orb-6) | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 9 | TBD | NASA | CRS Mission 7 (Orb-7) | Wallops, Island, VA | | Flight 10 | TBD | NASA | CRS Mission 8 (Orb-8) | Wallops, Island, VA |
