Starry Sky GN 1
Starry Sky starts off slow and while it does become more enjoyable, it never really achieves as much as other reverse harem tales. Perhaps the best way to enjoy this book is to simply turn off your brain for a bit and let Tsukiko's slightly insipid memories carry you away.
Cage of Eden GN 4 & 5
Cage of Eden is still an exciting, engaging story of the struggle to maintain some sort of society in a harsh, unfamiliar environment. Volume five slips up a bit in our ability to buy into the story and Yamada's dim view of adults can be distracting, but with reduced fanservice and Rion's increasing competence, this remains a great escape into adventure for a few hours.
Dirty Pair: Features DVD Collection DVD
All in all, this is a very nice collection. It is equally as enjoyable for those who are coming from the Dirty Pair TV and OAV releases and for those who are curious but don't want to invest in the longer shows. While all three employ different methods to tell their stories, Kei and Yuri remain engaging heroines and even when the story isn't as good as it could be, it is always entertaining.
Lollipop Chainsaw
Is Lollipop Chainsaw worth the effort? Sometimes, it is. It is fun when, eventually, it gets its ass into gear. And it is endearing, when it isn't actively working towards ruining its main character.
Eureka Seven AO Episodes 1-6 Streaming
As a piece of sci-
fi eye candy, this show is clearly a worthy successor toEureka Seven. It's just the actual story that still needs time to prove itself. Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works Blu-Ray
Ultimately this alternate take on the basic
Fate/Stay Night story has much the same feel as many Hollywood summer blockbusters: it delivers all the flash and thrill one could want but is still vaguely unsatisfying in the end.
