Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Arron Jameson has signed a new contract, extending his S6 stay until the summer of 2014.
A product of the Owls academy, the 22-year-old has made two first team appearances for Wednesday and now enters his fifth year as a professional at the club.
Jameson impressed on his debut against MK Dons at Stadium:mk in the 2010-11 term, where he helped the Owls record a 4-1 win before featuring in the return fixture at Hillsborough which finished 2-2.
Away from Sheffield, Jameson has also enjoyed loan spells at Gainsborough, Harrogate and Matlock to aid his progression with the Owls.
Jameson said: "I'm over the moon; it's an honour to be staying for another two years and hopefully I can really push on in that time.
"I think I have progressed well. I obviously haven't played many games but it's been a good learning curve for me.
"It's really pleasing to be offered this new contract because it shows I am well thought of by the coaching staff which is great and hopefully I will be able to repay their faith in me.
"There are a lot of people at the club that I can learn from. There is so much experience here; Nicky Weaver has played in the Premier League as has Stephen Bywater.
"Andy Rhodes has made over 500 appearances and now we have Chris Kirkland, who has played in the Premier League and Champions League, so I am surrounded by talent."
