Filminute's international jury awards the BEST FILMINUTE and five commendations. Audiences worldwide rate the films and vote for the People's Choice. …The festival runs throughout the month of September FILMINUTE 2011.Congratulations to Aritz Moreno for winning this year's BEST FILMINUTE for his film Loop (Spain). Congratulations as well to Shariff Nasr for winning the People's Choice Award for Oblivion (Netherlands). We would like to thank our jury and the public from 132 countries who participated in Filminute 2011. WHAT MAKES A GREAT ONE-MINUTE FILM? The best one-minute films resonate beyond one minute and affect audiences the same way any great film does. The challenge, of course, is to do it all in 60 seconds — no more, no less.
