Talk about sparks flying!
Kate Winslet not onlyescaped a house fire while vacationing at Richard Branson's Caribbean home last month, but apparently found chemistry with Branson's nephew "Ned Rocknroll," who was also staying on Necker Island at the time.
Though therecent Emmy winner, 35, was staying at Branson's home with her two children – Mia, 10, and Joe, 7 – and boyfriend at the time, model Louis Dowler, when she left the island to return to New York, it was Ned who accompanied her, according to Britain'sDaily Mail.
It was an eventful trip for Winslet, whorescued Branson's 90-year-old mother from the blaze that destroyed the business mogul's vacation home.

Theongoing case ofthe 2009 disappearance of Utah mother Susan Powell took on another layer late Thursday night with the arrest of her father-in-law, Steven Powell, on charges of child pornography.
Steven, 61, was arrested in his Puyallup, Wash., home and booked on suspicion of 14 counts of voyeurism and one count of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, reports theSalt Lake City Tribune.
Bail was not immediately set and the arrest is unrelated toSusan's disappearance, states the newspaper, quoting authorities.

Ariel Winter isn't shy when it comes to the opposite sex.
"I do like my boys," theModern Family actress, 13, told PEOPLE on the sitcom'swinning night at Sunday's Emmy Awards. "I'm pretty smart with boys. I know how to handle them and I know what to do around them."
Even though Winter is confident around males, her interest in dating brings out her mom's protective side.

It's definitely too soon to tell, but Melanie Amaro certainly got off to an impressive start during her audition on Thursday's episode ofThe X Factor.
The college freshman, 18, brought her entire family along to hear her singBeyoncé's "Listen" in front of judgesSimon Cowell,Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid andnew judge Nicole Scherzinger at Miami's United Bank Center.
"My family they support me and back me 100 percent in my singing," Amaro said. "I don't want to disappoint my family. They're all so proud, and I definitely got to get that 'yes.' "
Truthfully, she didn't need their support. Amaro nailed her audition, bringing the all the judges and the entire auditorium to their feet.

"I had breast cancer," says Sykes, 47. "Yeah, I know it's scary."
The cancer was found after she had undergone what was essentially a cosmetic procedure, to have a breast reduction.

A year ago,Kendra Wilkinson said she and hubby Hank Baskett were "definitely"planning to get pregnant again within the next twelve months.
Now theKendra star, 26, is rethinking things a bit, telling PEOPLE instead that she's decided to "hold off for a little bit longer."
But even though Wilkinson isn't in baby-making mode now, Baskett, 29, is ready for the happily marriedcouple's son, Hank Baskett, Jr., 2½, to have a little playmate.
"Hank actually talks about having another baby a lot more than I eventhink about having another baby," the formerGirls Next Door star tells PEOPLE. "I don't know when that's coming. Whenever I feel it's time, then it's time."

John Travolta recently purchased a Bombardier Challenger 601 jet that he and his family will use to travel around the globe, much to the delight of his wife and kids.
"My family fortunately loves traveling," the newly announcedBombardier brand ambassador told PEOPLE Tuesday. "Whenever I say, 'I have to go to Australia or Paris,' they say, 'When are we going? I'm there.' "
