We would like to thank you for visiting! Here at the Department we encourage you to read about ourpast endeavors as well as ourupcoming European tour to Prague and Budapest. Here you can also read up about thecurrent Choristers in the Festival Singers.


At Baton Rouge Magnet High School the Festival Singers are without a doubt a crown jewel. One that creates "musicianship", an element of any musician that is crucial for his/her future success in the field of Performing Arts.

In the Baton Rouge Magnet High School Department of Choral studies, we believe that in fulfilling this "musicianship", we are able to extend our arms not only to our country, but to other countries, such as Spain, Germany, France, and England.

However, we would like to ask that you, the public, reach out to encourage us, with donations, which would go towards assisting in the finances needed to send the choristers to Prague and Budapest for the 2009-2010 school year.
