Hint: Rank Increase The Wash-Out Way

To get an easy rank promotion, just start a new campaign and complete the first two levels with Jake. Each time you complete one of those levels, you should receive 300 experience points. Continue starting new games and doing the first two levels until Jake is level 10 or higher. He will now be that same level in any other mode.

Hint: Survival Level Up

For an easy way to level up your characters go to the survival mode, select the "turn" option, you will go through the basic course with 11 maps and 99 turns to do this. these maps are way easier to complete than the "money" or "time" maps are. upon completing the basic course you will receive well over 1000 exp. plus a bonus for any turns you have left over. after you do this you will have the option to do the champion course which is the same 11 maps as many times as you can in 120 turns. unlike the basic course, if you choose to yield early you will get bonus points for all turns left in the champion course. if you can manage to get to the second wave of maps with about 40 turns left you can earn well over 2000 exp. plus bonus. these maps are a quick and easy way to seriously level up those low ranking co's.

Hint: Fast CO Rank Increase

Once you've unlocked Mission 19 in Hard mode, you need to set aside a save file that you'll use for this cheat, and save your current game. In mission 19 there are 22 Oozium, 2 pipes, and a cannon, if you take out all of that and get 300 bonus you'll leave this level with 1200 pts. That's doubled to 2400pts.! I don't remember why it's doubled.

Before deploying, pump up your strongest team of COs (by team I mean compatible COs with two or more stars) using the Tower power, Star Power, Desert Scorpion, & Bruiser. Put those two in charge of the Orange Star, and pick any two COs you want to level up on Blue Moon. Just keep Blue Moon in the game and try to triple team the oozium for an effective kill, indirect attacks are weak on them, but they can help. Take com-towers whenever possible and don't leave any of your units next to oozium at the end of your turn and you'll be alright.

Once you've beaten the mission watch your points rack up and save to the extra file. Now every time you want to level up just go through the mission and save again to the other file. This'll also give you loads of credits!

Hint: Gaining Medals

Below are three worthwhile ways to gain medals easily.

Method 1

  • 1. Make a map with enemy units sealed inside a pipe.
  • 2. Make a line of factories outside.
  • 3. Start map with 9,500 funds per day.
  • 4. Build the units (artillery, missile or rocket), and destroy the enemy units.

You should consider using Colin (with the power of money) to make this a quick fight (if you're fighting Oozium). It’s possible to remove the pipe if you want to get direct-combat unit creation medals.

Method 2

  • 1. Make a map where both sides have factories, but where you've sealed one of your infantry units together. Make com-towers for your side and consider bringing base repair upgrades. Also, seal an enemy unit somewhere else on the map all alone.
  • 2. Fire away until you're happy. End it by capturing the enemy HQ.

Method 3

  • 1. Place a line of enemies or your Oozium next to two lines of factories (no spaces in between). An infantry unit should be placed together with the enemy HQ. Seal an enemy unit somewhere else on the map.
  • 2. As you and the enemy build units, destroy it the next round. Remember, the enemy must only have one CO or you might be in for some trouble.
  • 3. Absorb enemy units into the Oozium until you’re content with the destruction. Then, capture the enemy HQ.
