BNTR History

The Brass-Nickel Touring Chapter (BNTC) was chartered originally as a non-geographical chapter of the North Carolina Region on October 12, 1997 with 63 charter members.

On August 22-27, 1999 the BNTC hosted the 1999 AACA Vintage Tour, which is for cars manufactured in 1927 or earlier. This five-day hub tour was based in Fuquay-Varina North Carolina.

On February 8, 2001, the National AACA Board of Directors approved the conversion of the Brass-Nickel to a non-geographical region!

Membership in the bNTR


Membership is open to all AACA members who have a special interest in motor vehicles 1931 or older! The main emphasis and focus of the region is touring.
 


  • Dues are $10.00 per year

  • Activities are planned with the whole family in mind

  • The Brass-Nickel meets every six to eight weeks during the touring season, which in NC is April to October.

  • Current number of members is 76.

  • Membership comes from Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
