Cory Lidle, 1972-2006
New York Yankees pitcher Cory Lidle died Wednesday when the plane he was flying crashed into a building in Manhattan. He is survived by his wife, Melanie, and son, Christopher.

Lidle was remembered with fondness as a straight shooter who gave his all during every trip to the mound. The news of his passing was met with shock and remorse throughout baseball.  More >
