Take The Cake: About The Show

Take the Cake is a live, one-hour late-night game show, which will air daily with hosts Joe Clair and Tocarra. Viewers compete for cash prizes via text messaging or logging on to BET.com. The series is a comedic, interactive variety/game show featuring play-along pop culture games (music, gossip, lifestyle, entertainment, etc...) with cash prizes awarded throughout the show. Anyone can win, and all you have to do is text or register online to play. Once registered, randomly selected players will be called back.
Each episode contains multiple pop-culture trivia games that the at-home audience members can text or enter online to win prizes. But that’s not the only time viewers can win big cash. There is also a Daily Game that runs in promos throughout the day for a cash prize and the winner is revealed at the beginning of each show. The show airs live Monday through Friday at 11 p.m. (ET/PT) starting July 9.
A special game begins on BET, starting June 27, with a chance to win $5,000. One lucky winner will be announced on the premiere episode of "Take the Cake" on July 9 at 11 p.m. (ET/PT).
