TORONTO – The match betweenRandy Orton andRob Van Dam came to a scary end Monday night when the referee was forced to call the match due to RVD’s inability to continue.
After Orton continually targeted Van Dam’s head, theECW Superstar appeared to be barely conscious while unsuccessfully attempting to get to his feet.
After the match, WWE.com learned that RVD refused to leave the building for additional medical attention. According to WWE doctors, there is no doubt that Van Dam suffered a concussion. But because RVD refused further medical attention, the severity of the concussion is unknown at this time.
