After giving a comic label to the film, they try to tell a serious story that too without any logic at all. The final scenes are confusing and confounding. The audiences are driven to a tight corner, not knowing whether to laugh or weep.
The couples, and are not blessed with any child because of the shortcoming with Roja. One fine day, they locate a male child lying in Sathyaraj's car. They raise it as their own offspring. All along, harbours in heart a doubt about the morals of As the child grows old, he looks like Sathyaraj himself. In her dismay, Roja takes offence and divorces Sathyaraj. Sathyaraj fights long to prove that he is innocent clearing away all the doubts about him. This is the storyline.
One cannot swallow this movie but for Vivek. The film finds it difficult to have its way and the audiences are at a loss until the entry of Vivek. turns to be the saving grace of the film. He helps the viewers to grapple with an uninteresting story. No wonder, the movie buffs hail him as the 'Chinna Kalaivaanar'. In addition to Vivek, another person to deserve praise is the dialogue-writer Prithvi Rajkumar. Whatever profit the producer might have earned so far is due to the hard work done by these two people.
.Though, Sathyaraj is masquerading in three roles, he does not have ample scope to display his histrionic powers. Merely the way in which he delivers his dialogues alone helps him, here and there.
Roja emotes well as and when she doubts the conduct of Sathyaraj. It is too much for to dance adorning a small apparel that looks like a children's wear. Even sex bombs would fight shy before her!
finds place throughout the film. He talks at the top of his voice in an ear-tearing manner. At any rate he is able to impress the audiences, at times. holds the responsibility for Music. The titles say like that. If we brand these things as music we would be sent straight to hell. To Hell with the music! To win the honour of having set a new trend in providing different types of graphic effects they have strained to spoil the images of M.G.R and dinosaur, forgetting conveniently that both have a large following among the members of the general public as well as movie buffs.
It seems Director.. has acted in a hasty member while spinning this yarn. There is more spin and posturing in this picture than substance. The film lacks in technical discipline. (Example: The hair hi the front head becomes gray as villain Ponnambalam grows old in one scene. But in the very next scene his hair turns jet black. Furthermore, he fights like a young man also). The climax spoils the whole broth. Many of the viewers who were tied up to their chairs hitherto as prisoner of circumstances chose to leave the cinema hall, as the climax was distasteful to them. It would be better on the part of the director to see that exit scene before making his next story ready.
Looty - It is empire of the lean king, Vivek!
