Any amount of support for the Wadi el-Hudi Expedition has a genuine benefit for the project:

  • It helps record and preserve more of Egypt’s untold history.
  • It supports the working class people of Egypt and puts money into the Egyptian economy.
  • It fights to preserve and record Wadi el-Hudi before the monuments are destroyed!

No member of the Wadi el-Hudi team receives a stipend, we all volunteer our time and labor because we believe in this project and believe in protecting Egyptian cultural heritage. Every donation goes directly to support the project’s direct expenses of its archaeological work. We are a small, frugal team that makes sure your donation has the biggest impact possible.

A small donation can also make an enormous difference. If you give $20, we can hire a workman for 8 hours of labor, paying him well above the local minimum wage. If you give $70 we can rent a 4×4 vehicle to take our team into the desert for a day. Please consider becoming an automatically renewing member at $10 per month. Every donation will be appreciated and will make a substantive difference, from $5 to $5000.

Please make a tax-deductible donation online or by mail, and invest in our mission. Our project is associated with California State University San Bernardino, and all donations will be processed through CSUSB’s philanthropic foundation.
