Like many in my generation, my first programming experience was on a TI calculator, specifically the TI-89.  Its built-in programming language was easy to use, and of course that meant people were using it to make games.  This eventually led me to discover the programming language "C", and to begin a journey that in 2015 resulted in a computer science degree. From time to time I've also written demos for various old consoles and handhelds.

I've always preferred a small simple game.  Something that can be experienced in one sitting, or at least in one weekend.  It is this, along with the cross-stitchable art style, that keeps pulling me toward retro gaming.
