Description

The business of Tenjou Foods, which was run by her father, rapidly deteriorated. Part of the business was transferred to a Tokyo-based company known as “Sakunamite", Her family moved to Tokyo in order to revive the business. However, Tenjou Foods went bankrupt with only the food distribution division being taken over.

The dream of reviving the business completely disappears. Rina's father becomes ill, due to continued heartache and the shattering of his dreams. Rina is admitted into college, but life is hard having to work, take care of her father, and study.

Then, Yasuhito Sakurada, one of the grandsons of the chairman of “Sakunamite,” takes a shine to her and asks her to marry him. At first, Rina refused, but Yasuhito offered financial support, suggesting that she could stay at home as a full-time housewife without having to work part-time and could instead take care of her father.

Completely exhausted both physically and mentally, and considering her father's worsening health, Rina accepted Yasuhito’s marriage proposal and became his wife.

They leave their shabby apartment and are welcomed into Yasuhito's home as his wife, and begin to live together as husband and wife. However, within three months of their union, she discovered that Yasuhito had several mistresses. When asked about it, Yasuhito responded that he could do whatever he wanted with his money. Rina began regretting how easily she agreed to the marriage. Although dissatisfied, she continued caring for her father.

Yasuhito's behaviour continued to get worse by the day, and would not return home for days at a time. To add insult to injury, her father is diagnosed with liver cancer. All sorts of medication and surgeries were tried, but it had already metastasized and was too late for him. 6 months after diagnosis, he had passed away.

With Rina's father now gone, she feels suffocated living with Yasuhito and leaves home to live separately. The relationship has fully deteriorated. Rina returns to her shabby apartment, but Yasuhito does not agree to divorce, rather he wants to keep her as part of his mistress collection. Rina is unsettled by this, not knowing what his intentions are.

Rina thought that she needs to continue living for her parents who had passed away unexpectedly, and that running away from the painful reality would not solve anything. She is determined to make a new life for herself. Rina reunites with Nachi who had been searching for her, and the two begin a new life with each other.
