Whiskers is the secondary antagonist of the 2022 animated filmDC League of Super-Pets. She is a Somali kitten who acts as Lulu's right-hand minion after the latter saves her from the shelter.

She was voiced by Winona Bradshaw.

Biography[]

After being rescued from the shelter byLulu, Whiskers decides to join her army and assist her plans. When the Super-Pets chase after Lulu when she and her gerbil minions head to Stryker’s Island to saveLex Luthor, Whiskers stays behind to deal with the Super-Pets. She soon spots the Super-Pets flying to Stryker's Island using Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet and shoots it down using her weaponized tail. The group soon encounter her and convince her to step aside but she refused to stand down as she soon attacks them by using her powers that she received via the orange kryptonite which they manage to survive and later hide in a car. Whiskers then decides to destroy nearby cars that might have the group in one of them, however the group managed to get out of the hiding car before she blasts it into smithereens. Whiskers soon encounters them again and attacks Krypto by launching a rocket from her weaponized tail but Ace intervenes and protected Krypto and himself thanks to his invulnerability. Whiskers tries one last effort to blow up Krypto and Ace by using one of her hairball grenades but unbeknownst to her, the other Super-Pets manage to control their powers and soon overwhelm her by trapping her under a dumpster and to make matters worse for the feline minion, one of her hairball grenades was also stuck under the dumpster which soon blows up with her.

However, she somehow survives the explosion as she declares that she has eight lives since cats are known to have nine lives. Later on, she soon escapes the dumpster and finds Lex trapped in a gerbil like contraption that his former companion trapped him in. He begs Whiskers to get him out of the contraption but she declines and wanders off.

Trivia[]

Despite being an antagonist in the film, Whiskers was shown as one of the Super-Pets in one of the film’s posters.
