Terra Snapdragon is a supporting antagonist inDisney Channel's fantasy animated seriesThe Owl House. She is the leader of the Plant Coven who reports underEmperor Belos.

She was voiced byDebra Wilson, who also voicedGrýla inGod of War Ragnarök.

Personality[]

Terra is sly, manipulative, and cunning as she was able to control Raine Whispers with a special potion she made and lure Kikimora out of hiding with the promise of a promotion. She is also very crafty, for as leader of the Plant Coven, she is able to use her plants with very dangerous and unique ways. She is also deceptive and sadistic, as shown when she reveals to Kikimora that her promotion was just to live. However, she is also very loyal and dedicated to Emperor Belos and would do anything to help him start the Day of Unity. When the spell's true effects take hold, Terra is genuinely terrified and was shocked to learn that Belos had been deceiving her the whole time.

Biography[]

Season 2[]

Terra first appears in "Hunting Palismen" along with the other coven leaders where she hears about Belos' plan with the Day of Unity.

She later appears in "Follies at the Coven Day Parade" when she overlooks Kikimora and Raine for the Coven Day Parade and even gives Raine some tea for their "headache". Terra then attacks Luz and Kikimora and tries to lure Kikimora out by saying that she is getting promoted. Then Amity arrives and distracts Terra with one of her abominations. Terra later captures Kikimora and says that she was sent to watch Kikimora to see if she could prove her dedication to Belos. She then reveals that Kikimora's promotion was just to live, then takes her away and disappears. Terra is later seen alongside Kikimora and Raine as Belos announces the Day of Unity.

Terra appeared in a flashback in "Them's the Breaks, Kid" years before the series began. When Eda was a teenager, she was sent by Principal Faust to win a blue ribbon to avoid being expelled. she served as head proctor of IFWOT before changing the name to "HECK." Near the end of the program, she was rather displeased with the challenges and decided to add one final game: Covens Vs. Wilds. Although she violated numerous regulations, she did not care. When Eda and a young Raine were the only players left, they teamed up against her. Despite not giving out any ribbons, she was still impressed by their skills and saw potential. She then proceeded to put in a good word for Eda, saving her from expulsion. She later appeared at the end of the episode giving brainwashing tea for Raine, believing they were under her control. However, Raine was faking the amnesia and used bard magic to change the tea, without Terra knowing.

In "O Titan, Where Art Thou", Terra interrupts Eda's call with Raine to prepare for the Day of Unity, however she didn't recognized her because she was wearing a makeshift Coven Guard uniform.

In "King's Tide", Terra was present for the Day of Unity with the other Coven Heads. Raine reveals that Emperor Belos promised to make the Coven Heads royalty in his promised "paradise," being unaware of the draining spell. When Raine was swapped with a disguised Eda, Terra was placed next to her with Illusion Coven Head Adrian Graye Vernworth. When Eda's curse began to stop the Draining Spell, Terra reveals she was suspicious of her behavior and had Adrian remove her illusion disguise. After Darius and Eberwolf were subdued, the real Raine was brought before them to activate the spell. When Eda tries to warn Terra that she was making a mistake, she simply ignores this and states her biggest mistake was letting Eda and Raine live years ago. When the eclipse finally occurs and the draining spell activates, Terra is the first to feel its effects. Terrified, she ask Raine with Belos would really give them "paradise", they simply shake their head no, revealing everything the emperor said was a lie. Terra then lies on the ground with the other Coven Head as her magic and life are drained out of her.

Season 3[]

In "For The Future", after the following months of the Day of Unity, Terra was spared from being turned into a puppet, unlike the rest of the other eight Coven Heads. As she agreed to play with The Collector. However one day as she is rampaging through Bones borough pretending to be Eda in her owl beast form, Terra angers The Collector after he criticizes her impression of the Owl Lady. Terra berates The Collector by reminding him of their deal, degrading King in the process before putting on a mocking performance of Eda. Realizing her mistake too late, Terra pleas with the Collector to spare her, but they ignores her pleas and turns her into a puppet.

In "Watching and Dreaming", after Belos's final defeat, it was shown that the Coven Heads were freed from being puppets along with everybody else from the Isles, and even though Terra, Adrian and Vitimir still wanted to cling to "the old ways" by trying to claim the now-defunct throne for themselves, they were held at bay by Darius and Eberwolf. It is unknown whether she and the rest of the Coven Heads are still plotting to take the throne until this day.

Terra's face first appears on a tapestry of the Abomination Coven in "First Day".
In "Them's the Breaks, Kid", when she was younger, she says to herself that she would've been a great mother, despite her cruel nature. This is could be due to sarcasm or the fact that she has some twisted, sadistic view of motherhood.
