Audrey Bourgeois is a major antagonist of theMiraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir franchise.

Appearance[]

Audrey is a slender, fair-skinned woman with golden-blonde hair cut into a sharp bob with short bangs to frame her face, blue eyes, and a round, heart-shaped face obscured by a pair of dark, oval-shaped shades that cover her eyes.

She is a spitting image of Chloé, save for the hair color, which is a couple shades darker to the honey blonde of Chloé.

She wears a white, strapless jumpsuit with a thick, black stripe down the right side that is long in length and bares around the shoulder blades. She wears a black hat with black-and-yellow colored stripes on the underside, yellow hat band, and black-and-yellow flower on the left side. Aside from her sunglasses that she wears to cover her eyes, she wears bright golden high-heel shoes and white evening gloves up to just under her elbows. There's a gold ring with a modern design on her ring finger, and a golden bangle-like necklace with black gemstones and white outlines.

When she is akumatized as Style Queen, she has bright and sparkly golden skin and teeth, moderate gamboge sclera, and very dark gold eyes. For clothing, she wore sunglasses with very dark, gold shades, and her hair appeared to be pulled back in a gilded style reminiscent of a crown with five, very dark, amber pointed stones attached around the front. She also wore a golden, strapless jumpsuit designed with vertical stripes of cloth, a black strap on her left shoulder, and pointed very deep gold edges around each leg, along with medallion high-heeled boots. She held a long, gilded staff or scepter with a bud-shaped tip and black chevron around it on top.

When fused with Andre upon being akumatized as Heart Hunter, her face is a pale, light-grayish crimson skin tone, smaller nose, upside-down heart-shaped earrings that were raspberry-colored, vivid amaranth eyes, brilliant amaranth-style eyebrows, flapper-styled hair.

Personality[]

Audrey is a very bossy and demanding woman who only accepts what she wants and is, in her terms, "exceptional". As a result, she is considered the "harshest fashion critic in the world" and how no qualms about causing a fuss for those who do not meet her demands. Like Chloé, she has a fierce and explosive temper, and will get upset at the smallest offense, no matter how minor it is. She will also attempt to "fire" anyone she sees fit.

To that end, she cares little for her family or their opinions. She expected her ex-husband, Andre Bourgeois, then Mayor of Paris, to fire anyone who she disliked, or agree to her demands, no matter how ridiculous they seemed. When akumatized, she allowed Chloé to help her, but fired her the moment she saw that Chloé was working with Ladybug as Queen Bee. It was after this that she realized how much she and Chloé have in common and decided to stay in Paris to spend more time with her. Unfortunately, this doesn't last. After Chloé is stripped of her power as Interim Mayoress and she and Audrey are exiled from Paris and renderedpersona non grata there, Audrey is furious with Chloé for having disgraced the Bourgeois family name, and becomes a control freak and abusive mother, taking control of Chloé's life rather than teaching her to be a better person or even caring for her, much asGabriel Agreste did to Adrien.

She also proves to be neglectful of her children, only paying attention to them when they succeed at something.

Powers and Abilities[]

As a civilian[]

She has an eye for detail and great sense of fashion, as she was the one to discover Gabriel's talent, which she later compared to the derby hat made by Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

As Style Queen[]

With her powers granted from being akumatized, Audrey could turn people into golden statues and make domes around them using her scepter. She could absorb the statues into her scepter and then release them where she wanted. The next time she was transformed, her new abilities included turning people into piles of glitter, and even objects as well. She could also cover objects with glitter and add a glitter copy of her face on top of an affected object. She also had an intangible body made of golden glitter, allowing her teleport extremely quickly, causing a puff of golden smoke when she did so.

As Heart Hunter[]

Fused with Andre, they could manifest as a giant head capable of flight. They could sense love and shoot magic beams at their victims to turn them into hearts, representing the love they embodied, before then consuming said heart by eating it.

Relationships[]

Chloé Bourgeois[]

Audrey treats Chloé very well at first, hence leading to her spoiler nature seen in the series. When Audrey first comes to Paris, she still treats Chloé with some disdain unless she accomplished something. Upon finding that she and her daughter had much in common, Audrey decided to stay in Paris to spend more time with Chloé, while also, like her daughter, abusing Andre's authority as Mayor to her advantage, leaving Andre suffering as both a henpecked husband and abusing his power against anyone who wronged his wife or daughter in the slightest infraction. When Chloé became the Interim Mayoress after Andre willingly resigned in disgrace, Audrey was very proud of her ruling over Paris "with an iron fist", but that all changed when Ladybug and Cat Noir encouraged the people of Paris to rise up in revolt against her, causing Audrey to run for her own life, and later learn that, not only was Chloé stripped of her power, but Andre also grew a spine, disciplined her, and also divorced Audrey, ordering the both of them to leave Paris andnever return, being renderedpersona non grata in the city. Enraged by her banishment and the humiliation Chloé caused her, Audrey tore into her daughter on the flight to London on their private jet, vowing to make Chloé's life a living hell in retaliation.

Zoe Lee/Vesperia[]

Noe Luxus[]

After the events with being kicked out of Paris and humiliated by Chloé, Audrey turned to her eldest child and only son in Noe Luxus to take vengeance on Paris for past events. Noe attempted to buy out Gabriel Agreste's fashion line fromTomoe Tsurugi and Gabriel's son Adrien, but was refused, and also attempted to have Mayoress Caline Bustier removed from office by trying to convince the public she got into office by unjust means, despite her being elected fair and square after Audrey's ex-husband Andre willingly resigned out of shame and disgrace for his actions and Chloé was forcibly removed by Paris rising up in revolt against her. Though he still manages to get TVi head anchorwoman Nadja Chamack fired and replaced by Mr. Banana, he also manages to escape being accused by Ladybug and Cat Noir of being responsible for Chrysalis akumatizing Mylene's father into The Mime again. As a result, upon rejoining Audrey, she is very pleased at his efforts as the first step in taking vengeance on Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Paris for her humiliation and exile from the city, especially with him serving as Gabriel's replacement as "The Diamond" inThe Kingdom to aid them in preventing Caline's efforts from ruining their plans for the "Perfect World Project".
