Personality[]
| “ | Oh yeah, well, we forgot to tell ya, Stretch. He's nuts. | „ |
| ~ The Thing to Mr. Fantastic on Annihilus. |
As mentioned by many characters, Annihilus is an unstable individual. He is obsessed with his Cosmic Control Rod and will kill anyone who he believes wants to take it. He values power above all else and has waged entire wars to rule the the Negative Zone. He seems to hate humanity as a whole, especially the Fantastic Four, whom he has tried to kill. Despite this, he was capable of working with them to retrieve his Control Rod from Doom. He also has a sense of honor, however small, as he allowed the Fantastic Four to kill him after they bested him in battle.
Appearance[]
Annihilus is an imposing, muscular, insect-like humanoid. His body is covered completely in his exoskeleton, which is black on the torso and burgundy on the arms, legs, and head. His body is mostly smooth, though his large shoulder pads have small spikes on them. Annihilus has an oblong head with thin yellow eyes and purple horns. He also has massive, purple wings resembling a dragon. On Annihlus' chest sits his cosmic control rod, which takes the shape of a dark red pill.

Trivia[]
- Prior to his debut in "Annihilation," Annihilus was mentioned in the episode "Revenge of the Skrulls." This could indicate "Revenge of the Skrulls" takes place after the events of "Annihilation," as that episode is treated as the Four's first time meeting Annihilus.
- In "Contest of Champions," the Grandmaster lists Annihilus' species as "insectoid." This is unlike the comics, where he is an Arthrosian.
