Governors Awards 2025 Red Carpet Photos: Jennifer Lopez, Cynthia Erivo, Sydney Sweeney and More
Despite the heavy rains and winds sweeping through Los Angeles, the red carpet has officially opened at the Governors Awards.
Among the first arrivals were Ariana Grande, Jeremy Strong and Elle Fanning.
The 16th annual Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences event, considered a crucial stop for award season contenders, is presenting Honorary Awards toTom Cruise,Debbie Allen and production designer Wynn Thomas.Dolly Parton will be recognized with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, although it was previously announcedthe music superstar will not make an appearance due to health issues.
The four Oscar statuettes will be handed out during a dinner and ceremony at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood.
