KPO-50 Trade Promotion Unit

The Trade Promotion Unit promotes the internationalisation of Finnish companies and seeks to attract investments to Finland. The Unit develops and oversees the business services provided by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and its missions abroad. The Unit brings together the Ministry’s sector-specific expertise on trade promotion. The work is carried out as part of the Team Finland network of publicly funded export promotion organisations.

The Trade Promotion Unit is responsible for:

  • promoting exports and investments;
  • the Foreign Service’s business services, including service development, coordination, customer advice and support for the network of missions;
  • representing the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in the Team Finland network.
