The final gallery inTV Tonight‘sCountdown 50 series is devoted, of course, to Ian ‘Molly’ Meldrum without whom the show would not have thrived.
A journalist for Go Set magazine, Molly was the show’s talent co-ordinator and heartbeat of the show. His passion overcame any lack of television polish and the kids and bands loved him for it.

Very sad that Molly isn’t a part of the Countdown 50th Celebrations.
Molly was the heart and soul of Countdown and would have loved to be there if he was able..Do we know how Molly is doing these days?
