P-P sport expenses: How rosters and post season travel affect the budget

Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) athletics experienced significant fluctuations in expenses from the 2022-23 to the 2023-24 season. With a 364 percent increase in expenses for baseball between seasons and a $241,340 decrease for football, patterns emerge for athletes and students alike.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Women’s Tennis continued their reign of dominance on Friday, March 28, smiting a new challenger. The University of Wisconsin Whitewater found themselves bested at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center, as CMS secured a 7-0 victory.

Sagehens snap Athenas’ win streak in Sixth Street Rivalry to maintain SCIAC dominance

Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) women’s water polo dunked the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Athenas to extend their streak to 73 straight wins in the SCIAC in a close 7-5 Sixth Street matchup. This impressive victory came on the back of a hat-trick by Brienz Lang PO ‘26, who also scored the opening goal. But Lang recognized the team effort that helped pull in the win.
