HE following changes are made in connexion with the Aus
tralian Military Forces:—■
CITIZEN MILITARY FORCES.
SOUTHERN COMMAND.
(idieral List.-—3/10739G Brigadier H. H. Hammer, C.B.E.,
D.S.O., E.D., is removed from a Supernumerary List, is ap
pointed Commai der, 3rd Division, and to be Temporary Major
General, 2nd July, 195G. 1/3 0000 Major-G'eneral R. J. H.
Ri^on, C.B.E., D.S.O., E.D., relinquishes the appointment of
( ommander, 3rd Division, 1st July, 195G, and is transferred to
the Reserve of Officers (Southern Command), 2i d July, 19.1G.
59th Infantry Battalion.—Honorary Colonel E. P. Hill., M.M.,
E.D., Retired List (Southern Command) is appointed Honorary
Colonel, 21st February, 1950.— (Ex. Min. No. 87—Approved
25th June, 1956.
