New half-hour quiz is a
"show with a heart"
STRIKE IT RICH," the new Colgate-Palmolive show which starts
next Wednesday, August 20, is described as "the show with
a heart."
It will be heard at
8.0 every Wednesday
night from 3SR and
3DB.
Contestants for this
half-hour quiz will be
chosen from authenticated
applicants who need help,
maybe because of sudden
illness needing surgical
attention or hardship fol
I lowing fire or floods.
Starting with £3, each
of the four contestants
will be asked questions on
five fixed subjects, and
they may wager all or part
of their original bank,
which can win them a
total of £96.
Sydney radio personal-
ity John Dunne will com-
pere the show, assisted by
Charles (Bud) Tingwell,
with pes Tanner at the
Hammond organ.

Brunswick this afternoon
in "The Suburban Hour"
(3XY. 2.0).
Joy Nicholls, Roy Rene
