FOOTBALL TEAMS.
Portraits are published herewith of the--
Leopold.Footb.all Club team, which, won the-
Metropolitan Junior Premiership for the-
season just closed. Tlie Leopolds, whose
district is bouth Melbourne, went through
a remarkably successful season, winning 1G-
of the 17 matches played, and scoring a
pronounced victory by 7 goals 10 behinds to>
2 goals 8 bcliinds in the final match against
the South Melbourne Juniors, who were
runners up with a record of 15 wins and 2
defeats. The Leopolds are a well-conducted
lot of young fenows, who are a credit to the
game, and their success is therefore very
popular in junior football circles.
The other group represents the Pirate-
Football Club, Normnnville, winners of the
Korang Football Association trophy. This
club during the senson played 10 matches'
and won 7. The last match, played at Sand
Hill Lake, resulted in a victory for the-
