LEOPOLD CLUB. .
About ISO members and supporters of tlio Leo
pold l'ootball Club (premiere, Metropolitan Asso
ciation, 1910-11) were present at the annual meet
ing of the club, which Was held last night nt
tlie gymnasium, Sohth Mullxjurnocrlckct ground.
Or. E.LD. M. Thomson (presidont) was in the
clinir. The uunual report showed that the team
niaycu-'zu matches, winning 19 and losiag 7, dur
ing the season. The balance sheet showed a credit
nf £3 S/5. The report and balance sheet wore
adopted on the motion of Messrs. L. Naylor ami
J. J. Cnntwoll; and the president, congratulated
the team on its splendid record, which ho trusted
would he equalled during the coming season.
During the . evening the mavor of South Mel
bourne (Cr. M' Arthur, ,T.l\) lmnded to tho play
ers 25 gold mcduls, which had been presented to
tho club by tho lute Air. Skituicr, M.L.C., on the
nttatifmnnt of last kcukoii's premiership. After ex
pressing deep regret at Mr. Skinncr'a death, tho
mavor raid that nn looking through the report
and balance sheet lie wis astonished nt the success
of the club, which had been n nursery for the
South Melbourne and other more advanced club3
during the i»ast few years. (Sold Hncdal.s were also
£ resented to the members of the committee on
chalf of tlie club, and photon, of tlie team were
given to each player in recognition of their win
ning the prcmicrsliip. The election of officers re
sulted uk follows:— President, Cr. Thomson; com
mittee of management, Messrs. A. Sinclair, F.
Rrardon, II. Coueill, S. Evans, II, Jnrmun and K.
Ogg; delegates to Metropolitan Football Associa
tion, Messrs. O. II. Uenrnc and J. Muguirc; audi-
tor, Messrs. K. Hocking and O. Cathie; troahurcr,
Mr. It. II. M'iJrien; Kceretary, Mr, K, M. Glass;
assistant secretary, Mr. C. Qulnn; selection com
mittee, .Messrs. J. BrJggs and .1. M'llricn.
